Mr. Lewis has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry with a background in real estate acquisitions/dispositions, construction/development, property/asset management, leasing, marketing, finance and law. Mr. Lewis also formed Global CRES to provide management and transactional services to Global Building, its affiliates and third party clients in the southwestern United States. Currently, Global Building has assignments from California to Texas. Prior to the formation of Global Building in 2006 and Global CRES in 2009, Mr. Lewis was the Vice-Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Mammoth Equities, LLC where he was instrumental in taking the company from a single employee firm to a 60 person, multi-division real estate enterprise. He implemented the development and construction of over one million square feet of commercial office, industrial and mini storage projects and was also directly involved in the purchase and management of over $200 million in existing office and industrial properties located from California to Texas. Prior to joining Mammoth Equities in 1998, Mr. Lewis worked primarily for regional real estate management companies based in both California and Arizona and was involved in various roles in asset management, property management, real estate rehabilitation, brokerage and leasing. His experience with distressed real estate assets came primarily from his position as Southern California Divisional Manager at PMG Management & Consulting from 1992 to 1996. In this role he was responsible for providing asset and property management services for various lenders and institutional owners. He also worked directly with numerous receivers to protect asset values prior to foreclosure and provided turnaround services for clients after properties had been acquired through foreclosure. Mr. Lewis started his career is 1985 as a research analyst at Grubb & Ellis Company in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Lewis earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Arizona State University and a Certificate in Construction Practices from San Diego State University. Mr. Lewis has served on numerous local civic boards and commissions and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Mr. Lewis has been a licensed real estate broker in the state of California since 1991.
